MESSAGE FROM THE
FOUNDER
In Loving Memory of Princess Alice Besong Nforten
Some people give birth to life.
Others give life meaning.
Before I was born, my parents had already gone their separate ways. My mother, young, pregnant, and alone, returned to her parents’ home in Ebeagwa, the village of joy. It was there that I came into the world.
When life became too heavy for my mother to carry alone, she placed me in the arms of her mother, my grandmother, Princess Alice Besong Nforten.
From that day, she became my mother, my shelter, my comfort, and my first picture of love. Though her body was old and her breasts had no milk, she still held me close to her chest to calm my cries. She gave me what milk could not give — warmth, belonging, and the assurance that I was not abandoned.
She raised me with sacrifice, prayer, patience, and quiet strength. Her words still live in me:
*“I know you will not let me down.”*
Today, Global Women Support Hub is born from that memory. It is not just an organisation; it is a calling. It is my way of honouring the woman who raised me and standing with every woman who has suffered in silence.
I write for the single mother.
I write for the widow.
I write for the abused woman.
I write for the refugee.
I write for the prisoner seeking another chance.
I write for the girl growing up without guidance.
I write for the forgotten women of Manyu, Ebeagwa, Upper Bayang, Cameroon, Africa, Europe, Asia, Pakistan, and beyond.
No woman should cry alone.
No girl should grow up unseen.
No mother should be forgotten after giving everything.
Global Women Support Hub is here to stand with women, walk beside them, and remind them that pain is not the end of their story.
She rescued my spirit.
She gave me more than food. She gave me courage.
She gave me more than shelter. She gave me identity.
She gave me more than care. She gave me purpose.
May the memory of Princess Alice Besong Nforten live through every woman we support.
May her love become a global seed of hope.
May we rise by lifting one another.
*Long live Global Women Support Hub.*
*Long live every woman who dares to rise.*
With heartfelt love and eternal gratitude,
