MESSAGE FROM THE

FOUNDER

In Memory of Princess Alice Besong Nforten – (The Woman Who Raised Me) Rev. Peter Arrey Tambe.
Grace and peace to every woman, mother, sister, and leader reading this, wherever you are in the world.
Before I took my first breath, my father and mother had already gone their separate ways. My mother, still a young woman, found herself pregnant and alone. With nowhere else to turn, she returned to her parents’ home, carrying the weight of uncertainty and the life growing within her. It was there, in her childhood village, that I was born.
Unable to care for me, not because she didn’t love me, but because the circumstances of her life simply would not allow it, she placed me into the arms of her mother, my grandmother, Princess Alice Besong Nforten. From that moment, my true journey began.
From the day I entered this world, my grandmother became my everything. Though her body was aged and her breasts no longer produced milk, she held me close just to soothe my cries. Night after night, she remained awake, not out of obligation, but out of love, a love deeper than words. She made sure I never felt the sting of rejection or the absence of my parents. She replaced sorrow with lullabies and built a world where I was not just safe, but seen, valued, and nurtured.
She gave me far more than food and shelter. She gave me confidence when I didn’t know what it was. She believed in me when there was no one else to. Her words still echo within me: “I know you will not let me down.” That sentence became a lifeline, guiding me through hardship, lifting me through doubt, and shaping me into purpose.
Even though she is no longer physically with me, I still see her face when I close my eyes. I still hear the songs she used to sing. I remember her warm hands on my forehead and her quiet strength as she carried me through life.
It is from this deeply personal story—a story of pain turned into power, absence transformed into purpose—that I now write, speak, lead, and serve. This is the heart behind the Global Women Support Hub, a branch of THE ROOT MHSF COMMUNITY INTEREST, serving faithfully since 2012.
I do this not for applause or recognition, but in sacred memory of the woman who raised me, and in honor of the many women around the world walking through pain, hardship, and silence.

I write for the single mother doing her best to raise her children.

I write for the woman trapped in domestic abuse, smiling on the outside but broken within.

I write for the prisoner longing for a second chance.

I write for the refugee searching for dignity amid displacement.

I write for the widow whose tears fall in silence.

I write for the young girl growing up with no hand to guide her.

I write for the women of  Manyu, Ebeagwa and the daughters of Upper Bayang Cameroon.

I write for the unsung heroines whose names may never appear in history books, but whose courage shakes the earth.

The Global Women Support Hub is not just a project, it is a divine calling. It is a movement where no woman is left behind, unseen, or unheard. Whether you are in a village or a city, on a hilltop or in exile, we are coming to you, not to pity you, but to stand with you, to walk beside you, and to rise with you. We are not waiting for women to find us. We are moving, into towns, into nations, into broken places, because no woman should ever feel alone again. So I invite you: register your interest, join the sisterhood, and help build the future. Let us be a global family where we don’t compete, we complete one another.
Let our bond be deeper than blood, formed not by chance, but by purpose. We are mothers to the motherless, sisters to the weary, a voice for the voiceless. We rise by lifting each other. We lead with love. We serve with grace. And like my grandmother, Princess Alice Besong Nforten, may we leave behind a legacy of love, courage, and unwavering faith.

Long live Global Women Support Hub.
Long live every woman who dares to rise.

With heartfelt love and eternal gratitude,
Rev. Peter Arrey Tambe
